In 2014, we reported the difficulty in finding a place to book the best flights to your destination. We could find the best rates at ITA Software by Google, but ITA did not provide booking capabilities, so we then had to search for a travel agency that would book our tickets for us. Even armed with the fare codes, it proved to be difficult.
Now, in 2016, Google has come to the rescue. Although ITA remains a website for flight search, Google has also release a Google Flights website where you can not only search, but also book the flights you find. The website is truly terrific, and I see no reason to try anywhere else.
